AC is one of those games IMO.This mod adds 2 new dimensions (+Moon!) along with tons of new biomes, new ores and much more!

Love that PC gaming is alive and well but the mouse and k/b is not always the best for everything. If you are running for example an Atari, Sega, or Nintendo emulator you are cheating yourself if you try and play those games with a mouse and keyboard. Flight simulators, fighting games, and platform games just seem to go better. but it is simply more fun and challenging to use a controller with forceback and pulling a real trigger instead of pushing a mouse around clicking a button. Sure I play shooters with mouse k/b all the time. I was one of those who initially preferred k/b and mouse for FPS type games because I had so many years of that scheme drilled into me. Why spend a ton of effort on kb/mouse when it just isn't going to work as well? RTS and simulations are where kb/mouse rules. It just would not work as well with keyboard and mouse.

For AC series controller makes perfect sense. just dropped $2,700 on a desktop rig and playing on a $1,600 G73S with 3D vision. That doesn't mean I want a touchscreen and literal "point and shoot" like the other guy suggested the mouse is just much faster and more precise (this is fact, regardless of a persons skill, whether they can aim or not is another issue) and the keyboard offers much more options for me. When ever I use controllers they are imprecise and I am being impeded by technology. I have no idea how you turn precision into "shoot anything that moves". YOU may like playing RTSs at a snails pace, but if an opponent can build his units and research upgrades like he's typing out an essay, and he's moving his camera and units around the map at light speed, you'll understand why having to slowly scroll across a map, or scroll down a list hitting up or down if you missed something isn't going to cut it in such environments (RTS, MMO, RPG, etc). RTS, and MMO's all have a lot of menus and require very quick scrolling and precise movements (for menus, clicking units in the right place) AND they most definitely need a keyboard for all the hot keys people use. Yes I am old enough to know the difference between opinion and fact and the "fact" is that opinion (such as yours) is always going to outweigh fact. Is it so hard to understand? Then let me understand… How do you play co-op games with the PC? You share the And almost right off the bat you're into insulting.

A keyboard has 102 keys to write, not to play games, and the mouse alone is not enough. There are games that simply play better with it, they are not suitable to be played well with m&k. But it would be about time for the PC community to change the mindset about the gamepad.

if people prefer to act as an octopus to play it, no problems with me. It's just that it is one of those games that plays better with a controller. Then don't worry, AC III will support the m&k. So why should I buy a mouse to play games on a Mac? because traditionally it was so? Then I want the joystick back, as it was the first input device for games I used with the glorious Commodore 64.

The Apple trackpad is much superior to run OS X (and soon Windows 8). Mouse? Who said that the mouse, NOW is the primary input device for the computers? As you can guess I have a Mac.
